Getting Started - ALERT FM USB RECEIVER

The ALERT FM USB Receiver is not compatible with Mac computers. It is only compatible with Windows.

Software Installation
Your ALERT FM USB receiver should function after the device is plugged into your computer's USB port and you have installed the ALERT FM software. The software can be found at http://www.alertfm.com/t-product_support.aspx

Programming
To receive alerts and messages, your ALERT FM USB receiver must be programmed with group addresses and additional service codes. You can find these codes at http://www.alertfm.com/myalertfm.aspx. You will need to program these codes in Settings. The receiver must be connected to the PC in order to access the Settings menu.

Listening to the Radio
Your ALERT FM USB receiver will allow you to listen to local FM stations without using internet bandwidth. However, to receive alerts and messages you must be tuned into an ALERT FM station.
